The idea is that if I put the parts up on my website in a
special section, I'll have to come up with prices.
TOMAHAWK 1948 DEALER
CONVENTION, Original - Tomahawk - $1000, one only. My
favorite piece.
From a 1948 Indian Dealer Convention, in Washington, DC, top
right photo. Herb Reiber was the Indian dealer,
there. The St. Louis Dealer Convention, bottom photo.
I got this from Mort Wood in a literature trade in the 90's.

DE LUXE WHITE COVERALLS, Original - 162024 - $400, one only
From the 1940,'48, and '51
Indian Accessory Catalogs. Indian dealers could custom order these with additional
writing. Normally they came with the large Indian logo on the back and a small
version over the front, left pocket.
These were for racing mechanics to put over their street
clothes.
"White herringbone twill. Has 6 big pockets." Has
a long zipper in front. No size tag, looks like it would fit a racer from the
1940's.
INDIAN HEATHER YARN SHIRT, Original - 162140 - $75, one only
From the 1953 Indian Accessory Catalog. Introduced
in 1952 as a "famous gray heather yarn shirt". Cotton. Size "M" which looks like a small to me.
The Indian design on the breast can be seen as far back as
in the 1940 Accessory catalog and later T-shirts.
Champion Brand Sportswear has been around a long time.
Champion introduced the "Hoodie" in the 1930's.

collection reproduced in the 90's.
Pull over with button snaps at the neck. Even though the
label shows the size as XL, it is too small for me. I think it is more like a
Large. The letters are sewed onto the sweater.

Indian Racer Ernie Beckman, member of the Indian Racing
"wrecking crew" was the last Indian rider to win an AMA Grand National
race in 1953.

From the 1948 and 1951 Indian Accessory Catalogs. Originals
were 100% wool, these are an acrylic/cotton blend.

1" medal with oxodized
finish. Curved to fit around handlebars with mounting clip.
I made and sold hundreds of these in sterling silver. This is the real one I
used as a pattern.

- 161017A - $35.
1" pin with red enamel finish.
ROADMASTER TIE CLIP, blue, Original - 161004 - $65, one each
only.
1" pin with blue finish.
INDIAN WING PIN, Original - 100849 - $125, one each only.
2" pin with pin back. Indian supplied these for many
years. Classic design. I reproduced these in sterling
silver.
CHAIN TIE CLIP with INDIAN HEAD DANGLE, Original - 101471 -

Attached to original card. Same Indian Head design,
smaller, as on the Wing Pin.
MOHAWK TRAIL TIE CLIP , Original -
Mohawk Trail - $25, one each only.
Same Indian Head design, smaller, as on the Wing Pin. I'm
sure these were made by ROBBINS in Attleboro, Mass.
Robbins supplied almost all of Indians smaller decorative items. Shift Knob
183001 is most famous.
INDIAN TOUCH-UP LACQUER, Indian Red,
Original - 163072 - $50, one each only.
Red paint has leaked out from the cap. You can see it in the
photo. Display only. No doubt that this is the "real Indian Red".
AIRHORN, steel, Original - 100901 - $400, one only
Bare AirHorn, cast steel, has
retaining clip still installed. Four, Chief, Sport Scout, 1936-1938.
I've had this over 40 years, it's a real one. Note serifs
inside the D and A. Reproductions don't have those. My steel reproductions had
serifs but I didn't make but a few. Too hard. Overall
length: 5.6".
AIRHORN, aluminum, Original - 100901 - $650, one only
Bare AirHorn, aluminum, has same
part number as the 1936-38 cast steel versions. Four, Chief, Sport Scout, 1935
only.
I've had this over 40 years, it's a real one. Note serifs inside the D and A. About
0.030" thinner than the cast steel version. Overall length:
5.625".
561006 INDIAN "VANGUARD" DRIVING SPOTLITES
ASSEMBLY, Original - $1000, one set only
Shown on page 11 of the 1948
Indian Accessories Catalog. Embossed Indian Script on the back of
each light. Toggle switches on each.
Mounted on a Spotlite bar with 3 1/2" forward extension arms. Bar has closed ends. I'm
sure it is original but I can't find it in period literature. Easily damaged
lights from falling over, I've never seen another set.
INDIAN MOTORCYCLES DEALER SIGN, Original - $000, one only,

Sign is 48" X 24". Includes original top mounting
frame made of angle iron with clamps.
Sun baked on one side. Sheet metal is straight. Came from a
small town Indian Dealer in Kansas (I don't know which).
It's a pre-1949 sign. Design probably goes back to the
1930's.
OIL CAN SIGN, Original - $000, one only, no price yet
Sign is 13 1/4" X 9 1/4". Shows
multi-colored, 1938-1947 Indian Oil Can, 1 quart.
Designed to sit on top of
counter.
These were beautifully reproduced in the 1980's by the same company that made
the original ones for Indian. This was their pattern. Reproductions have no
company name on the back.
FORK SHIELD ASSEMBLY, Original + reproduction - 781015
Assembly - $250, one only
524015 Aztec Badge and 160007 Roadmaster Emblem are NOS,
originals. I've had these for decades.
781015 Fork Shield is a unused part
made by Starklite Cycle. Chief, 1952-1953.

It's all there in the original box with packaging. I got this years ago from Indian Motorcycle Supply. 1951 Access Catalog page 10.

one each only.
Pre-war Patch 8" long. Seen in
period literature. 161006 Indian Wing Design, 7"
long. 1948 Access Catalog page 19.
HENDEE HEADSTOCK BADGE,
Original - Hendee - $300, one each only.
Pre-WW1, around 1908. A small
piece missing. It was flattened, originally was curved to fit headstock.
Looks to be brass. Hendee
Mfg. Co., Springfield, Mass USA.
REFLECTO NAME PLATE, Original
- 161023 - $100, one each only.
Fragile. Paint/reflective media is flaking. Plastic bag. I used
this as a pattern for my reproductions. Aluminum with plain
back.
The Indian script in advertisements was different from the
finished part. I copied both. These are rare.
